WHITMER CIRCUS TO BE HELD:
Whitmer High School's 23rd annual circus will be held on Fridy, March 21 and Staurday March 22 in the Whitmer High School Boy's gym at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of the physical education instructors - - Mr. Stacy and Miss Williams. Admission is 40 Cents for students and 75 cents for adults.
The Whitmer Circus originated in 1930 and has been every year since except those during World War II when physical education was not compulsory. The philosophy of the Circus is "to provide an opportunity for the entire student body to take part in an activity which should prove to particicipants and the public the value of good health. The students benefit from the Circus both physically and emotionally. The main purpose for co-ed is for opposite sexes to better understand each other as to strength, emotions and capabilities," stated Mr. Stacy.

MIX UPS IN SPORTS:
Tony Ward ran 200 yards for a touchdown in last nights football game as Whitmer was defeated 88-2. He ran the wrong way.
 Mr. Davis bowled three 222 games in the teachers bowling for June league. He helped his average by keeping it the same.
The Whitmer G.A.A. basketball team went undefeated for the season as they won their first game 50-50.

WHITMER BEATS CLAY IN TRACK MEET 58-60:
Whitmer won second and third in the final event the broad jump to defeat Clay in a track meet at Clay on Tuesday, April 15.
John Graves won the mile and the half mile, Roger Rife place first in 440 second in the broad jump and anchor position of the mile relay team.

INQUIRING REPORTER:
This week the inquiring report asked W.H.S. students their opinions of the latest tyle in fashion---the CHEMISE.
 Ken Jacoby - Senior - "I do not like them. Girls look like they're walking around in sacks."
 Pat French - Senior - "I like them for their comfort."
 Penny Hodge - Soph. - "I think they are cute. They are very comfortable."
 Ruth Dobson - Senior - "I don't like them because they look like flour sacks."
 Lewis Kunzler - Senior - "I like some of them but some remind me of a flour sack."
 Sally Moyer - Senior - "I think they're terrific."
 Bill Umlauf - Senior - "I think they belong in their place - Africa!"
